CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Compound needle technology has emerged again in the latest equipment being offered by circular knitting machine manufacturers.

The technology was visible in knitting machinery exhibited at the International Textile Machinery Exposition (ITMA) held earlier this year in Germany, according to knitting machinery representatives who spoke at a meeting sponsored by the American Society of Knitting Technologists (ASKT) here.
