Port comes up short--expenses 1/2 million over budget.(Port Report)

Port of Everett Finance Director Karen Clements released the Port's year-end financial statement for 2003, which indicated the Port's net income was down nearly a half a million dollars from expected levels.

Last year business was down because of a decrease in real properties and lower timber sales, said Port Director John Mohr.
