Wallis and Futuna expects its own airline in 2005.

20 MAY 2004 MATA'UTU (Pacnews) --- Wallis and Futuna, the French government's smallest state, should launch its very own airline early next year.
The revelation was made to the media by one of the island state's Kings' representatives, Atolomako Puluiuvea, a Wallis islander.
Claiming to represent Lavelua Tomasi Kulimoetoke, one of the Kings of Wallis, Mr Puluiuvea said an Air Wallis dream is about to become a reality, with a company to be formed. It would be a joint venture between Wallis and Futuna, traditional chiefs of the state, the King, a local bank ...
