A King Cove fisherman went for a wild ride when a sea lion jumped aboard the family's fishing boat, grabbed him by the seat of the pants and pitched him over the bulwarks into the harbor.

Ray Dushkin Jr., 19, is no stranger to danger on the water and perils at sea, but the brush with the 1,500-pound sea lion has definitely broadened the range of his commercial fishing experiences. Shortly after Dushkin and his father, Ray Dushkin Sr., had tied the 53-foot Desiree Dawn up to the docks to deliver their catch, the animal seized the moment.
