RICK Baedeker has the track in his blood His father Bud was a household name in horse race circles for a handicapping guide he started in 1938. The younger Baedeker has run Hollywood Park since Churchill Downs Inc. bought the facility in 1999. A Glendale native who once studied for the priesthood, he started his business career out by working for his dad, who died earlier this year. Baedeker is leading the charge on a state initiative that would bring as many as 30,000 slot machine...
