HARRISON, WIS. (AP) -- Dawn Birling was sure a horseback ride in a northern Wisconsin forest had cost her the $8,000 diamond ring her husband gave her three years ago -- until a fellow rider she didn't know came to the rescue.
"This woman is an incredible woman, let me tell you," Birling said. "I am more thrilled that there are people like her in this world than to have the ring back. Somebody brought that girl up right."
