WE are finally reaching the homestretch of the election campaign. So much has already been said. So much money has already been spent. And yet, are we clearer about what we need to be doing in the next 6 years? Are we decided on the next steps to take towards the social order we need to achieve?

The social order we desire should be founded on the straightforward proposition that every individual counts and should be made to count. We should be clear that the individual Filipino or Filipina should be the source, center, and purpose of our political, economic and social life.
