Berkley Gibbs knows how to throw a party.

He's had lots of experience, serving as chairman of the Chesapeake Kiwanis Club's annual Shrimp Feast each spring since 1988. The Great Bridge resident is at it again this year, co-chairing the feeding frenzy with attorney and fellow club member John O'Keefe.

The Shrimp Feast, planned 4:30 to 7 p.m. May 20 at City Park, is a few years older than the Jubilee, but has been a part of the city's biggest bash since its inception. This will be the 24th edition of the feast and 22nd year for the Jubilee.
