WHEN IT comes to booking a flight, the cheaper the better. Unless, that is, you live on Queensland's Gold Coast, where locals are complaining that air fares to major cities in Australia are insultingly low.
Residents of the Gold Coast, a string of gaudy high-rise resort towns, are furious with the national airline, Qantas, which plans to end flights offering business-class seats from Melbourne and Sydney and replace them with its "no-frills" budget service called Jetstar.
