Each spring, hundreds of people travel to Conesus Lake in search of fish. Though many are anglers, they come equipped not with rod and reel, but to watch the large number of adult northern pike and walleye migrating to their spawning grounds. These "fish watchers" have discovered that observing the fish can be just as much fun as catching them, and that Conesus Lake is a great place to practice both recreational activities.
