ST. LOUIS _ Scott Hartwig played Jesus in the Passion play at St. John Lutheran Church in Ellisville, Mo.
Hartwig healed the ailing. He carried the cross. He rose from the dead. St. John Lutheran's production is perhaps the largest in the St. Louis area, with 200 church members involved as actors, choirs, and stage and technical crew.
