LEXINGTON -- Shane Sellers knows a Kentucky Derby contender when he rides one.

That may explain why the jockey was so confident about The Cliff's Edge in the days before the Blue Grass at Keeneland.

"I don't think he's really come into his own yet," said Sellers, who has been aboard 12 Derby starters and is still looking for his first win. "But I really believe that I'm sitting on a horse that is one of the horses to beat in the Derby."
