CHICAGO, March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Internet Pioneers, brothers Joseph and Avi Fox, who merged publicly traded brokerage firm Web Street, Inc. with E*Trade Financial Corp., have announced the founding of "Stand-Up Comedy Television (SCTV)," a Chicago-based 24 hour national cable network. The channel, which is expected to launch in January of 2005, will feature high quality comedy programming strategically aimed at the underserved "Boomer" market. SCTV will be an advertiser-supported channel optimized for digital cable and satellite broadcasting.
