I wrote last Sunday that the lawsuit filed by Minnesota Attorney General Mike Hatch and U.S. Rep. Collin Peterson against North Dakota's non-resident waterfowl hunting restrictions was a mistake. Minnesota would benefit more if it focused on rebuilding its countless lost wetlands and grasslands, I said, rather than intrude in North Dakota's business.
