The Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati can come up with its share of laughs for audiences during a given season. But with "The Women of Lockerbie," it's time to get serious for an evening.

As might be inferred from the title, Deborah Brevoort's play, opening Wednesday, concerns the horrendous crash of Pan Am Flight 103. On Dec. 21, 1988, while over Lockerbie, south of Glasgow, a terrorist's bomb exploded in flight. A total of 270 people -- 259 on board and 11 on the ground -- were killed.
