Independent business group has protested Electric City from the beginning
The sale of a large share of Mississippi Power's embattled Electric City stores to Jackson's Cowboy Maloney's marked a victory of sorts for a business association.
"This points out that they (Electric City) were not able to compete in the retail market without significant support from their parent company," said Ron Aldridge, attorney for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB)...
