ACR Electronics recently returned from the drawing board with an updated version of its [Vecta.sub.2], a handheld radio direction finder introduced in the late 1990s. Improvements include a stainless-steel body and a collapsible PCB antenna, which should enhance the unit's durability and portability. The [Vecta.sub.2] now has a low-profile, omni-directional whip antenna, as well, designed to enhance the unit's signal detection. ACR ...
