PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The local KOREA SOUTHERN POWER CO., a subsidiary of KOREA ELECTRIC POWER CORP. (KEPCO) is currently gearing-up to build a large-scale wind power plant in Gangwon Province, South Korea. As things currently stand, the company has signed a memorandum of understanding with the authorities of Taebaek City to push for the planned project.
According to the terms of the MOU, KOREA SOUTHERN will build a wind power complex with an installed generating capacity of 100 Mw. The new facility, to be sited in a valley lying between Taebaek and Yeongwol, is expected ...
