Chris Patten said the conclusion of the Agadir Agreement obrings us closer to our joint objective of a Euro-Mediterranean free trade area by 2010o. He said it would ocreate much needed momentum for Mediterranean regional integration and foster private investment in the regiono. He strongly encouraged the other Euro-Med partners to join the initiative. Lebanon has already said in response that it is ready to join the Agreement.
