Grinding Mills
Some detailed comments on aspects of grinding mill design were offered last year by Dipl-Eng. J. Knecht of Krupp Polysius AG, Germany. In the July 1990 issue of Mining Magazine ( pp 20 - 27 ), he discussed various design concepts for tube mills and the particular importance of bearing design, while in the October 1990 issue (pp 264-269) he considered drive systems for large grinding mills.
