ABSTRACT

Cuba has undergone major changes over the past decade, both socially and economically, and to some extent politically following the demise of the Soviet Union and the decline of soviet monies and support. Within this framework of change exists opportunities to restructure the interwoven social and economic structures. Cuba is indeed making many of these changes and providing economic opportunities for those willing to do commercial business with Cuba.
