Noel Pelly, a long-time administrator with the Australian Ballet, died on August 21, 2003. He was 76. An attorney by trade, Pelly's passion for the arts led him into arts administration, where, beginning in 1961, he served as publicity director, administrator, and then a board member for the Australian Ballet. His work with that company spanned forty-one years.
