People who have pet miniature schnauzers say the dogs are very loyal.
Apparently, so are their owners.
Schnauzer Friends for Rescue and Adoption helps dogs in need of a new home to be placed in a good one.
Last year, the all-volunteer local group arranged 130 adoptions of miniature schnauzers. Currently, 20 are in foster homes awaiting placement.
