It would seem that the career of Cincinnati songwriter/producer/performer Reggie Calloway has now come full circle.

The cofounder, with his brother Vincent, of Midnight Star gave us some of the great synth/funk party anthems of the '80s ("Operator," "Freak-a-Zoid, "No Parking on the Dance Floor," "I Wanna Be Rich"). He went on to become a producer for such acts as LeVert, Natalie Cole, Teddy Pendergrass and Gladys Knight. Calloway got a Grammy nomination for LeVert's "Casanova."
