Former U.S. astronaut Sally Ride will help a North Chicago medical school change its name today to honor scientist Rosalind Franklin.
Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School will now be known as Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, taking its new name after Franklin.
Franklin's research led to the discovery of DNA's structure.
