Minch Lewis stepped down from an elected post in City Hall and within one week stepped in to lead a new neighborhood association.

Lewis finished his second term as Syracuse's city auditor Dec. 31. Term limits barred him from running again.

On Jan. 6, he was unanimously elected the first president of the Eastwood Neighborhood Association by its board of directors. He was elected at the association's first official meeting.
