James Monroe Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:JMBI) today announced significant earnings and asset growth for the year ended December 31, 2003.

For the year ended December 31, 2003, James Monroe Bancorp, Inc. reported earnings of $2,601,000, an increase of 68% over the previous year's earnings of $1,553,000.
