We describe two immunosuppressed female patients with fever and Actinomyces odontolyticus bacteremia, a combination documented once previously in an immuno-competent male patient. The patients were treated with doxycycline and clindamycin; these drugs, with [beta]-lactams, are effective treatment for A. odontolyticus infections.
