(BOTCC) cleared all contracts traded on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), Eurex was a non-U.S. futures exchange with its contracts cleared in-house by Eurex AG Clearing, there were no completely non-U.S.-owned U.S. futures exchanges and Chicago's exchanges were appreciating the relatively hands-off approach the U.S. government was taking toward futures exchanges.
