Geno Delafose, in tandem with his French Rockin' Boogie band, is internationally hailed as Acadiana's most talented Creole zydeco and Cajun performer. At the age of seven, he was playing rub board in his father's pioneering John Delafose and the Eunice Playboys band at many of the same community festivals, country dancehalls, Creole church benefits and rural zydeco trail rides that he still does today.
