Finland's Siilinjarvi plans expansion

Next year, 1992, Kemira Oy expects to set a new record for apatite production from Siilinjarvi, and is currently developing new mining areas. This operation, located in central Finland 25 km north of Kuopio, is the country's largest mine, and the only apatite mine in Western Europe. (Mining Magazine, August 1982, pp 93-99).
