A memorial Mass for Mrs. Margaret Theresa Barrett (nee Niederer), a 63-year resident of the Chicago area, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Julian Eymard Church, 601 Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village. Born November 20, 1935, in Chicago, the daughter of Vincent and Louise Niederer, she passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2003, at her home in Lytle, Texas. Internment will be in Maryhill Cemetery. Margaret was the first woman in the state of Illinois to become a licensed trainer in the sport of harness racing. She ...
