Anna Edwards, 30, had given up all hope of her little girl ever getting excited about the arrival of Santa. Since birth, six-year-old Elisha suffered from a condition that trapped her inside an infant's mind, unable to communicate, move or feed herself.
Yet today, she's a happy child with a never-ending list of wishes for Santa. Angelic Elisha sits at the kitchen table at home in Bronington, Shropshire, ordering her sister Grace, eight, to hurry up and finish her letter to Lapland. She wants a new doll, a bear and a new pram.
