Are you looking for a lesson that incorporates science and art? This lesson teaches students all about a plant's chemistry and how that chemistry creates a plant's unique color.

I work with many different kinds of plants when I create my own mixed-media fiber-art pieces. I am acutely aware of the distinctive natural dyes that can be obtained from various types of plant material.
