DURING JUNE 1-4, 1989, a 145-acre potato field adjacent to the town of Dorris, California, was treated with Ethoprop (Mocap[R}) (O-ethyl-S,S-dipropylphosphorodithioate), an organophosphate pesticide that releases n-propyl mercaptan into the atmosphere following application. [1]
