Sandra Trop, director of the Everson Museum of Art, enjoys walking into her office a little bit more these days.
Hanging on one of her walls, for now, is the museum's latest acquisition - a 4-foot by 6-foot abstract painting by Robert Motherwell.
Motherwell (1915-1991) was among the leading abstract expressionist painters from the early 1940s on, working along with artists such as Jackson Pollock and Willem DeKooning.
