The lead exchanged hands nine times, but in the end Conant made sure it kept its record with just 1 loss.

The Cougars (5-1) pulled out a 47-41 win over Rolling Meadows in Tuesday's Mid-Suburban League crossover.

Meadows (0-6) led 18-13 in the second when the Conant defense went to work.

The Cougars made five consecutive stops (3 turnovers, 2 missed shots) and finished the half with an 8-2 run.
