Nike's Supreme Court for tennis sophisticates
BEAVERTON, Ore. - Nike Inc. will break into a new, more classic tennis category with the introduction of Supreme Court, a spring '92 tennis collection featuring "a little more sophistication" than its successful Challenge Court series.
The Supreme Court line, aimed at tennis players aged 24 and up, could represent some 35 percent of Nike's total tennis business in its first year, which would bring the collection revenues of around $60 million, projected Skip Lei, tennis marketing manager.
