Beautiful graining is achieved on hardboard television cabinets, as well as on genuine veneers, with a new process that can be compared to printing. This double graining machine at Admiral Corp.'s wood cabinet plant imprints 70 TV cabinets per hour with rich, clear grain. A photograph is taken of the original grain as a veneer and is then etched on the graining roll. This roll is inked while revolving slowly. A rubber roll touches the chrome roll and transfers the wood grain pattern...
