Ramsi Uthman testified in his own defense Thursday, admitting he participated in a burglary at Temple Beth El three years ago but maintaining it was Ahed Shehadeh's decision to set the building ablaze with gasoline.
Uthman said he didn't know the building was a temple until the following day. He said Shehadeh set the fire to get rid of the fingerprints Shehadeh had left when he went into the office to look for money to steal. ...
