For High Precision Sensing

The MLX90255BA is a linear optical array fabricated using silicon CMOS technology. It is currently used in a wide variety of automotive and industrial applications. These include optical linear position and rotary encoding for Electrical Power Assisted Steering and Electronic Stability Platform systems. Other applications include image scanning, mark and code reading, optical character recognition (OCR), spectrometry, contact imaging and edge detection and positioning.
