According to the menu, Carter Brothers Barbecue opened on Main Street in 1997, followed by the Samet Drive property in 2000. The former appears to have once housed a fast-food establishment, while the latter is more upscale but still down home in appearance and ambience.

I visited both locations for this review and found them full of happy people, enjoying their dinners.
