Helene L. (Merritt) Hall of Norwell, a volunteer at the South Shore Hospital, died Friday at the Norwell Knoll Nursing Home. She was 97.
Born and raised in Norwell, she graduated from Norwell High School in 1922.
Mrs. Hall was a member of the Women's Alliance First Parish Church in Norwell and a volunteer at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.
