DAVID Jones, of the Bluestone Herd in Lancashire, judged the Ulster Jersey Cattle Clubs annual herds competition.

Mr Jones spent three days in Northern Ireland visiting the club members herds. He was full of praise for the quality of animals he inspected.

Results were as follows:

Best youngstock: 1 Fleming Family; 2 Brady Family; 3 Arthur Maginnis.
