Tom Whitehouse and Matthew Morris remain in the hunt for a coveted European Tour card next season but fellow Midlanders Sam Walker, Mark Mouland and David Walker slipped out of contention yesterday.

With only 35 places and ties available on the full Tour, the school today enters its final phase of two rounds at Emporda, in Spain, and the competition is proving stiff for the intrepid duo.
