Thai Airways Plans Direct Flights from Chiang Mai to Europe.

Nov. 11--In a bid to turn Chiang Mai into Thailand's future northern aviation hub, Thai Airways International Plc (THAI) is planning to open direct flights out of the northern city to Europe.
Suthep Seubsantiwongse, executive vice-president for commercial affairs, said the plan would support the government's policy to develop the province into a fully fledged aviation hub.
