EMPLOYERS from across Scotland gathered at the Falkirk Wheel last Tuesday to mark the success of New Deal in helping people into work.

The Scottish New Deal Awards are Jobcentre Plus' annual celebration of New Deal.

Now in its fifth year, New Deal in Scotland has helped almost 60,000 young people into work, as well as thousands of lone parents, people with disabilities, those aged 50 or over and people aged 25 or over who have been jobless for a year or more.
