Demand for diesel engines and associated aftermarket parts in the US is projected to increase 5.7 percent per year through 2007 to $15 billion. This will represent a significant improvement over the early 2000s when the economic slowdown adversely impacted original equipment manufacturer (OEM) demand for diesel engines in both vehicular and off-highway applications.
