INGLESIDE, TEXAS -- The president of oil services firm Cal Dive International said last week that deepwater developments in the Gulf of Mexico will look a lot different over the next 20 years than in previous decades.
Martin Ferron, president and chief operating officer of Houston-based Cal Dive, said that over the next several years, he expects deepwater fields to be produced from "hubs in the right spots with a lot of subsea tie-backs surrounding them."
