Loren urges Senate to OK ICC statute.(Metro and National News)

Senate Majority Leader Loren Legarda yesterday urged for the immediate Senate concurrence of the ratification of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) to prosecute or extradite suspected international criminals.

Legarda has introduced Senate Resolution No. 11 pushing for the Senate approval of the ICC Statute in order to protect basic human rights according to international humanitarian law.
